Thinking of trimming your dogs nails at home?

Have you been thinking about trimming your own dogs nails at home? Grinding your dogs nails is the best option, as cutting them tends to leave them sharp and can split the nail damaging it. Grinding your own dogs nails at home is easy to do, but it will take some preparation.

To get your dog used to you doing his/her nails at home, do the following:

1. Get your dog used to touching his/her paws by playing with them frequently

2. Take the grooming tool and turn it on and let your pup listen to it to become used to the sound (a vibrating toothbrush can be used until you order the grooming tool and it arrives)
