Pet Friendly Guide for The Villages

If you're like me, then you like to take your pup out every once in a while. It's good socialization for dogs of all ages. At the parks they can get the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need. At restaurants they can learn to relax and can even utilize the place cue! Check out our list of pet friendly places below:

Dog Parks in The Villages

  • Brinson/Perry - This is a smaller dog park that has some steep grading/hills. 1231 Bonita Boulevard

  • Atlas Canine Recreation - This park is very big, however there is no shade. 3513 Moyer Loop (South of 466A)

  • Paradise Park - This is a moderate sized dog park, however most of it is dirt and there is a lot of golf cart traffic in view. East side of golf cart bridge crossing Hwy over 441

  • Mulberry - Belle Meade Circle adjacent to the fitness trail near the Village of Springdale

  • Dudley Canine Park - 2470 Fenney Way (South 44)

  • Rupert Canine Park - 5733 Parkyn Path (South 44)

  • Homestead Dog Park - 6241 Meggison Road (South 44)

  • Doggie Doo Run Run - This one is my favorite! It has nice shaded areas with multiple seats/benches, multiple water bowls and even a doggy pool on the small dog side! This one has an Oxford address and is privately owned, but it's located in the northern center of The Villages. It does cost $3 for 1 dog or $5 for two dogs, OR you can purchase a monthly membership at $35. 12971 Co Rd 101, Oxford.

That's our list for now! I will continue to check out dog friendly places and will update the list as needed.
